Mine also turns on spontaneosly and is frustrating. I think it turns on because of my headphones.

The easiest way to close Music Player, or any other running app is to do it through TASK MANAGER. The easiest way to do THAT is to create a task manager SHORTCUT on your home screen. Hmmmn... IDR having that issue but maybe it was there but i was actually planning on listening to my own music and the music player just happened to be starting when i was tapping the program icon. Nonetheless it's very annoying. Definitely need devs to remove this feature from future roms if possible.
