Help Closing apps? Apps running that I opened..

..days ago but haven't used since. Do I force them to stop? I read a post on here that they will close after not being used for a while, but I don't see that happening. And I read on here that you don't want to force stop apps, is that true, if so, why? Things like FM Radio, a few games, maps, market, etc, all show as running. Or, I don't use friend stream, haven't opened it but it's running as well, or FB for HTC sense, I deleted that.

Suggestions? Thoughts?

It's not something to worry about.
Android tries to keep it's memory fairly full. Just because the apps are showed as running they're not actually using processor unless they're being used.
