Root CM 6 problem

Just installed Cyanogen 6.0.2 last night and right away I ran into a problem, when attempting to download an app off the Market I get "download unsuccessful" and I posted in a thread on XDA about it, I tried the solutions that were posted and none worked. Has anyone had this problem and fixed it? It however downloads when I switch off wifi and enable 3G, I also get "forbidden" when attempting to surf the web, this is bizarre.

All works fine when I restored via nandroid back to teppic's rom.

Could try a factory reset to see if that fixes.

I assume you have double checked your WiFi settings?

Flash a different radio to the one you flashed when flashing cm?

Other than that, wait for an xda response is all I can suggest

I had this problem and wiping the data of the market app in the application settings fixed it :)

Crazy, just downloaded the latest nightly build (10-07) and flashed gapps, A2SD and Launcher2 and Market downloading works.

I don't have CM anymore, but I didn't have A2SD+, and it was with Defrost, which included gapps I think...

Isn't OD based on CM now Dan?

If it is, I'm not aware of that. All I know is Defrost was based on OD, then changed to CM and CM was much better.

That said, I think they're all using similar kernels so they may all be running on the same framework.

wow, I said that like I knew what I was talking about ;)

Yeah Leedroid, Defrost, OD and a few others are CM based but vanilla CM seems to be best so far. I read an article a few weeks ago that a major distributer (I forget who) has been considering shipping cell phones with CM.
