Root CM 7.0 Nightlies

Did you wipe between flashes? I dint have that prollem,but I dint do any wipes before flashing full-2 overtop of rc1.

If you want to avoid resetting up your phone,restore a good backup,reboot then back to recovery and flash full-2 over it.

CM doesn't say to wipe anything wen coming from another nightly.

I always reset/wipe my phone before installing any thing, I've done it 5 time.

I just tried to install full-3 and the same thing happen. :(
i can't get Google to restore my apps.

Seriously this is one case where you just give yourself trouble if you wipe, as long as everything is working on the one you install over. I do believe that there is something about GB that makes the phone unrecognizable to the Market; it still thinks all your apps are installed! I've seen someone else say that on this ROM sometimes they have to wait a couple of days for everything to restore on its own but I've never been that patient.

Restore a good backup and then install over it, and see if things are peachy again.
 
I installed Build #19 right over top UD 3.0 (or was it 2.5 :confused: ) ... and from there I flashed 20, 21, and 22 without wiping. Then I wiped and flashed Build #23, just for giggles. From there I flashed 24 (broke camera, back to #23), then 25, 26, 27, 28, 28, 30, 31, 32, 33, 34, 35, 36, 37, 38, 39, 40, 41, 42, Full-1, Full-2, and Full-3 ... ALL WITHOUT WIPING.

Umm ... just sayin'. :D
 
anyone else with the random reboots? I'm still on 41 so maybe thats it.
If no one else seeing the issue, I'm going to wipe before going to the latest.
 
One thing i am getting is random numbers being called when my bluetooth is hooked up. Not numbers in my phone book mind you, but random out of the blue numbers! Anyone else experiencing this?
 
i have had a couple of random reboots since i started using the nightlies on version 23. but they have not been frequent enuff for me to consider a real issue.
 
Has anyone noticed any issues with receiving MMS? I can get them, but it hangs on downloads. I couldn't really find any info on whether or not it was a problem with CM7 or not, but I know 6 had it for a bit.
 
I get hangs on incoming calls. Takes me a good 15 seconds to answer the phone, what with the lockscreen showing up, locking up, then having to swipe again to accept the call. Has been an issue for the past three or four nightlies. Maybe more.

I noticed that as well, then when you unlock the screen to answer, the lock bar still shows under the bottom call buttons. I think I may do a complete wipe and try a fresh install of the latest nightly. Maybe flashing over each one has caused some issues.
 
I've done multiple clean wipes. Does not help at all. The phone is fine, other than this issue. But this issue is big enough for me where I get strong urges to throw the phone at the wall and really need to restrain myself. This isn't minute lag, or even medium lag. It's almost as frustrating as the Eris' lag with just about everything you did with it.

Resist the UD, Liquid, etc temptations and they will flee from you...

In the meantime, I'm diggin the revamped rotary lock. Also, 16hrs on battery and I'm only at 40%...with a CM rom...whoa!

I have had the MMS issue on every single ROM I've ever tried, even stock before I was rooted. It seems to happen on other Android phones as well, it is either a VZW issue or an Android issue.

Weird, this is the first time I've had any issue downloading my MMS texts. I get a lot of them and never had any problems on the Froyo ROMs I had used (BB,Chevy,LFY,UD). Was pretty annoying as I missed out on some 1 time only pics from a drunken friend... :(

Yea the only thing I have found that helped was getting the MMS while the messaging app was opened.
 
I had read something about deleting a telephony.db file under data/data/providers.telephony/database .. but that only worked for a couple pics.

Thanks for the info bro. a restore from a cm 6.1.2 and then wiped and installed full-3 and it working fine. :D
