Root CM release new ROM with 2.3.7

Yes the minute you port it over. ;) CM7 with 2.3.7 has been out for a little while. If someone with the time and knowledge ports it over then yes. If not then no.
 
2.3.7, i had it with my nexus for it a while.
can i ask something PG ,
whats the difference between our 2.3.5 ROM now and 2.3.7 in the future?
Is it faster or what?

Today, the CM team has finally released a stable CyanogenMod 7.1 build, based on Android 2.3.7, for a bunch of devices. The new stable build contains some new features like a new lock screen style, support for Bluetooth mouse, FM support in many devices, touch to focus in camera, and an improved DSP Manager. There are lots of other changes as well, which I have not mentioned here. Dont mind the focus on the camera option

I can't wait to try this new build might be my last tho until I get the LG esteem
 
I doubt the touch to focus will work on the Ascend since the hardware doesn't have any auto focus capability lol.
