Root CM10.1 not booting

Recently ran into troubles with PACman and decided to go back to the tried and true CM10. grabbed the latest nightly, wiped everything, flashed it and the latest Gapps. phone boots fine, then shuts off when it gets to the CMlogo. I really don't want to be on stock.
 
Just went and tried the latest RC for Pac and it runs fine, except the keyboard keeps on crashing

cm10 is too boring compared to all these hybrid roms.

+1 on BeanStalk.

That is the first AOSP rom for the LTEvo that I was able to run for more than a few hours.

Highly recommend giving that one a go syi. :)
 
I like it, but I don't. it kinda lags when opening up the lockscreen and stutters even though I'm cranked up to 1.5ghz and switched to performance. but it's not stock, and it actually runs. and what is up with this whole pick a launcher every time I reboot? is there even a difference?
 
cleared that mess up by wiping dalvik&cache. now the stupid thing tells me I have failed SMS but refuses to show me the failed SMS

try wiping dalvik cache and cache and re-flash the rom.....i had the same issue with bean stalk and it turned out to be either a bad download or a bad flash.
