lol ur good. hell im still not even very good at all this but i know my way around well enough to get a good base, my main function in the other device i worked on was testing and debugging which i cant even do, i gotta outsource
 
Camera works, front camera is upside down, storage settings still crash but storage works. Still haven't had a chance to test LTE but like I said a couple posts back, data doesn't work unless I set it to LTE/CDMA. I probably won't test LTE until the ROM is a little more complete and I can move around. Next I would like to see is Wi-Fi.
 
well you cant really blame me for the upside down front camera. thats zte's fault, the front camera is literally upside down in almost every phone they make lol. good to hear it works though. and as far as what we fix next, well we will be fixing what we can figure out next. but considering all the things working on it id say its pretty well ready. i mean what is actually left to fix? wifi, bluetooth, MAYBE lte, mms, keylights, alot of which has already been fixed just not put into my build yet you got it a hell of alot better than me, the cm on my phone is missing just as much, and is slightly unstable, but its all i got

Anyways, well, I can't wait to see the rest of it fixed, but I don't wanna be constantly wiping and downloading my apps after a new build comes out, I'm still testing but I'm not sticking to cm yet.
 
no i know. and believe me i wish, but sadly this job doesnt pay that well lol. i should have a bluetooth fix tonight, sorry but thats well laid out and ready to be ported in so thats next
 
Can't test Bluetooth, got nothing to test it with. If I gave you pics of my phone to see the condition it's in, would you make me an offer?
 
dude, i got about $2.75, most of which is in change. cheap shipping on the last phone i got was $2, so my maximum bid is 75 cents... i am one broke bastard
 
I think a donate link may be appropriate at this point junkie. You and Mouse have proved your product, and development would be a lot easier for you if you had the device.
 
i appreciate the offer, but i doubt youd be willing to get rid of it for less than $50, and i just dont have it or any hope of getting it in the near future to spend on something like that
 
lol, used to have a donate link... turns out you gotta have a bank account to accept the fund transfer, and you gotta have money to have a bank account... its a catch 22 :(
 
If we can throw up a donate link I'd be willing to part with my phone for about 75. I want a new one because I broke the secure element on this one and I'm not so sure I can fix it by throwing a new NFC chip on. NFC still works but it kills me not being able to use Google wallet.
 
ah, yea see i can get one for 60-70 on ebay. mouse got his for 70 and its in pretty much mint condition. unmodified when he got it. but yea like i said sadly a donate link isnt an option for me, i have no account to attach to so it will just hold the funds for like a month then return them kuz it wont let me claim anything. same with mouse. but hey we obviously werent in this for the money anyhow lol
 
practically free and free are two different things, they all want to charge you a monthly fee if youre not a student or something and you dont make regular deposits, you cant just have an account with $2 sitting there idle theyll take it and tell you to go to hell
 
my last bank, when i turned a certain age they stopped giving me the free student account, started charging $7 a month, then charged me an overdraft fee kuz i couldnt afford their fee they said they sent me a letter about... i dont read letters wtf is wrong with you. send me an email like you do with my statements. but no, couldnt do that, so i got screwed and then ended up in debt with at&t because of it, lost my dsl though im probably better off without that crappy service
 
I have a bank account with my local credit Union. They don't charge me a dime, but there are 25 dollars in my savings account I can't take out to leave it open. I don't mind as long as they're not charging me anything. You should look into credit unions.
 
well, maybe someday ill find one that will just sit untill i need it but so far nobody ive found offers that, plus i dont got $25 to put in an account i can never get back
 
alright well im not making any promises... but ive made changes for bluetooth, wifi, lights, and power. havent update the apn yet though i think i might be able to fix that if its not working right. i do still want to check it with a speed test in a place that is known to get good lte signal, but if not i have an apn someone made for a different sprint mvno
 
You could always get a prepaid debit card to make a basic paypal account, but then you couldn't wire the money, you could only use it at places that accept PayPal. But I'll try the new build as soon as I can.
 
and i think i managed to make a fix for the upside down camera thing, before remembering that the fix was in source and the working camera libs arent built from source... so youre still screwed lol. ill work on it but i make no promises
 
well itll be a while befor the new build is up anyway, its building now and then its gotta upload which takes a while. just keep watching for the update on my dropbox link, or ill let you guys know at some point when its up but i dont always keep very good tabs on it so it might be a little while after its actually up
