Root CM10 progress Update Thread

its the rom itself not thinking this device has lte

How can we fix that, do you know Shabby? So far I've only spotted little kinks like, Headset not working(Speaker phone only), no 4g LTE, Bluetooth, Wifi, MMS, Headphones aren't read. But otherwise, the rom runs solid, after updating Google Search from flashing gapps, no force closes that I have encoutered either, totlth has came a long way.

Well is most done this is my photo
The sdcard is not mounting that and other bug

Thank you totlth I will be using the new tester until more progress comes out. I greatly appreciate everything you have done so far. You are awesome

My SD storage works fine. It won't connect to computer though.

What's up with the round cursor. It is quite annoying!! Didn't you get rid of that in the last testers?

That has been fixed in the latest tester, the round cursor doesn't show for me everything touch wise seems to be working fine.

Y does it show when I flash this tester? I'm flashing cmtester5.zip.

Also, I flashed gapps and their was no camera. So, I downloaded my camera app. It opened but the screen was blank and it wouldn't take pics or vids.

Make sure you're wiping cache, davilk cache, and doing factory data reset before flashing and flash gapps right after you flash the cmtester zip.

Camera and all worked fine for me

I haven't been able to get camera working. I haven't even tried yet.

I love it! Camera doesn't work for me though, I haven't tried what else they said wasn't working. I did a full wipe and installed the tester and gapps and there was no camera, so I installed the 4.3 camera apk I had on my memory card (which worked on 4.0) and tells me it can't access the camera and closes. And also the setting crashes whenever you want to access the storage tab.

Ever since I flashed the rom and I went back to my other ROM, it is just giving me EV I stead of going back to 4g. Is anyone having this problem? Could anyone help me?

He is saying that when he returned to his other ROM, he isn't getting 4G

Did you format dalvik, format everything, then flash your old ROM our did you just go back to the ROM without doing all that?

Download LTE on/off from GPlay and switch your radio back to LTE/CDMA/EvDo

i tried this before and it wouldnt stay. if it doesnt work for you let me know and i will post the correct way to do it. its a longer process.

i got the perfect solution for you, ived tested it on my avid myself, download the anycut app then create a shortcut for network settings, once you open up network settings click on the option that includes cdma/lte ,then just reboot and enjoy :) this is like the lte on/off app but the toggle actually does work for swithing back to lte

Did you change any settings on the tester? Some of the settings on jb are phone settings that aren't enabled on 4.0.4.
