Root CM10 progress Update Thread

Not sure exactly bout the minor ones. But the major ones are phone audio and usb selection functions

so you ever figure out the sdcard thing on 10.1? im beginning to think it has to do with either the init binary we are forced to use or some part of zygote that we are using the stock version of though i havent checked into that yet been rather busy lately havent had much time to work on things but got 10.1 booted with no lte, messed up audio, and all that stuff

also on the usb front im not sure what issues you are seeing but it helps if you fix the syntax in the init.usb.rc
they keep putting ${sys.usb.config} when it should be $sys.usb.config
zte always does that stuff. run a quick change on that and it should have a little easier time with usb
 
I am super anxious for the next tester. Has progress been made with the Phone and Camera bugs? That's really my only issues, I can make it a full daily driver when those things are fixed.

Also, how is 10.1 going?

Gotten nowhere on sdcard thing. on the usb thing some logcats were telling me that $sys.usb.config was deprecated so I switched to ${sys.usb.config}
 
So I notice the headphone is fixed too awesome. the only problems I see is what ever codecs or something with video from Netflix not working. Also notification light not working. Other then those two I have no problems

For Netflix to work do this go here

just download xposed and the workaround apk for Netflix and install both then go in to xposed and in there go to module and check the netflix module go back and to framework and hit install then hit reboot and Netflix will work

Look and notification lights is fix we just need to make a new build lol

So what's left, camera and GPS and, I can't recall if MMS worked either, are those the 3 remaining bugs also probably bluetooth?

MMS is working I am going to try to fix Bluetooth this weekend for the camera I think if someone can do a search how fix camera in cm10 it can be great

Does it matter what phone the camera fix is for? Found several links for diff phones. Xda imparticular for samsung devices etc....
 
So I owe a beer to totlth and dadcup. Lol


And anyone else who wants to join in on celebrating CM10 for our phone.
