Root CM10 Re-flash

I just reflashed CM10 to my recently wiped and s-off'd device. my sd card was wiped (by me before s-off). After flash, the device started updating apps. I noticed that it was updating CBS Fantasy football. Obviously thats NOT a stock app. I opened app right to my team. i wasnt prompted for a user name or password, which i should have been considering it was a new install. That app has not been on my phone for atleast 3 weeks.

How in the heck did this happen? how was this app on my phone after flash, how did it know my user and password? im a little freaked out.

and fwiw, i dl'd the 12/4/12 CM10. CBS FF app was removed Thanksgiving night when i gave up on my team.... lol

did you do a tb backup restore? what did you wipe before flashing the rom?

Apps and data are stored to googles servers if you allow it to be. Its that backup and restore check box when you first set up the device.

My sd card was empty. I s-off'd and upgraded firmware and radios then flashed viper rom. My ti back up was on sd until I wiped sd card clean.

Sounds like the answer. I just wonder why it didnt do thatvl with the other roms I flashed. That was creepy for a minute.

Yeah you really gotta watch out for that button when you have 85 apps that Google will try to restore to your phone.

Did you check the restore box on those roms?

Some ROMs have the "Restore my phone" box automatically checked and some have it automatically unchecked. I hate when I forget to uncheck that box.

Not sure. I usually skip through that part at 100mph..... lol
