Root CM10 SDcard Boot cant see full card space

I have a 32GB card however I am only able to see 209MB of it. On the vold.fstab file I have changed the first dev_mount line from auto to 11, to 8, to 7, to 6, to 5, to 4, each time it makes the "sd card" seen as damaged (under settings / storage). with auto I see the 209mb

Below are what I feel are the relevant settings. I have thought of just increasing the size of the first partition but dont want to do that, I know there must be a way to used the "CM7 SDCARD" partition for data

Your computer can only see the first partition. To resize it and make it all available means removing all the partitions and creating one new one, which means losing everything on the disk.

The first partition is just used to boot and update your rom. There should be no reason to resize it. The largest partition is seen as a sdcard after you boot into the rom.

What are you trying to do? Are you hoping to keep it as a rom or erase it and use it for something else?
 
I realize the "boot" partition is only used for just that... which is why I didnt want to do anything to it unless totally needed, and if even possible

what am I trying to do? make the 28+ gig on the "cm7 sdcard" partition available. to copy music/ video/ books/ whatever else onto and be available to the nook.
 
If you haven't screwed it up, it should be visible to CM7 when you boot into it.

You need to turn on usb mode when it's connected via usb to your computer.
 
its CM10 I'm booting and using on the SD Card. dunno if I need to change the partition label from CM7 to CM10? but all those settings are what were put there by the initial install, no changes made
 
hmmm no ideas on why I cant access the full sdcard space? rather worthless having 32gb card that only has 200+mb available to CM10. seen lots of posts online with similar issue but no answers that work

BTW - going into apps/ file manager and then selecting /storage/ is where I confirm the (lack of) file space available to sdcard0 and sdcard1
 
Maybe you screwed up the partitions with EaseUS and need to start over?

NC should see the partition and computer should when in USB mode. When in USB mode there's a prompt on the status bar to connect to the PC. You enable that and the computer should see Nook (3 or 4 g) and sdcard (23g).

You can't see anything except the first (209 mb) when you remove the card and plug into the computer. You have to boot the NC with the sdcard and connect via USB.
