anyone know what entails fixing the audio issues?
is it just values?
or is it several files that need rewriting?
if it's values....maybe someone as simple as me with average common sense and half a brain can possibly conceptually hack at it........does not mean I won't need to flash a recovery I'm sure...lol...but, if it's as simple as demanding a fix...than I'd rather attempt it....
otherwise...I'd stop after the answer if it requires the ability to comprehend actual knowledge....
and not stab and poke shenanigans.....
of which of course I am pro am at least...
main reason why in most cases I can dig my way out of the hole I dig.....
unless of course I have to stop for more than 10 minutes maybe less...then all is doomed....
yes...thank you

probably a dumb question,but-according to root checker i have root, also tb shows root access, but i have a persistant notification that super su needs to be updated. when i try,it fails-any suggestions are appreciated.

You can only write to system while in recovery. Download the newest supersu zip and flash it through recovery.

First of all always and I mean ALWAYS make a backup. Second you can just flash butternoob v2 it's basically stock without the bloatware.

ok so right now on CM12.1!
so do I just download the butternoob v2 zip and install it ? or is there other steps

Should be the same process you went through with CM 12.1. Also you may want to make a backup now in case anything goes wrong. You always want to be prepared!

I can tell you this much

if the /system/vendor/libacdbloader.so is there

you get working phone call audio, but no media audio

if that files is removed

you get media audio, but no phone call audio

I think we need the file there and we need to update the /system/etc/mixer_paths.xml or something

If I knew exactly how to fix it, it would be fixed

I don't doubt that....
Thanks for all your efforts...
You must really love puzzles... Lol...
I'd go nuts by now trying to figure out all the little self defeating stuff....

hroark 13-the no phone call volume wasn't a complaint, just a reply. I'm totally blown away by what you've been able to accomplish-had an lg motion that you and playful god turned into a really good phone,so thanks again.

If you don't mind not having audio but do mind having in call audio working, then use the second to last latest build. The first old one. I am using it right now and in call audio does work. And for the time being, I need in call audio working more than I need regular audio working.

on that previous version you referred to, with in-call audio working is there any way to use media audio, like through bluetooth?
