Could someone that has LTE working with CM12 please give a step by step on what you did? Start at flashing the ROM if possible.

Flash APN fix after flashing cm12,
Download change APN from play store , change proxy and port from null to 0 and it should work

Worked perfectly for about 2 hours, however now it is doing the same thing.

Edit: Nothing seems to stay in memory, even when switching between a few apps, not always though...?

I just flashed the VM APN fix, even though I'm on Sprint, and I am getting a lot stronger 3G, but its still spotty, and no LTE yet

Did you change port and proxy to 0?

Is there any way of fixing the deep sleep problem permanently?

I just installed and launched this app. When it loads it brings me to a screen that says 'Access Point Name settings are not available for this user'. Did I do something wrong?

Sounds like you didn't flash the boost apn fix yet?

Maybe the boost apn fix would work better, since boost uses Sprint towers.

I'm on VM. I flashed it right after flashing the ROM. Something went screwy and now I've lost all LTE (even when I reverted to my ZV5 backup). Didn't you run into something like this at some point?

When you say you flashed it right after, is that 'right after' as in before booting up the ROM, or first thing after you booted up the ROM.

From what I understood, we were supposed to allow the ROM to boot up once before we flashed the APN fix.

Here's what I did:
Flashed the ROM
Flashed the APN fix
Flashed gapps, then rebooted
Enabled developer menu
Enabled root in the developer menu
Installed the Setcpu app, ran it and gave it root permissions
Installed the change APN app, ran it and chose LTE, changed proxy and port both to 0
Flashed new boot.IMG
Check settings in *#*#4636#*#* menu, should be LTE/CDMA auto (PRL)
Flashed the APN fix again
Opened change APN app again, chose APN2
Chose APN1
Icon still shows it dropping out every 90 seconds but it does say LTE and it works so I don't get it.

Edit:
Chose APN2
Rebooted to recovery, cleared cache.
Crossed fingers
So far so good.

Nope, still drops.

I:
1. used LGFlashtool to revert to zv3
2. OTA updated to zv4
3. OTA updated to zv5
4. Used new root method to gain root
5. Installed root browser to change GPS.conf
6. Got lock on GPS
7. Installed TWRP boot img using flashify
8. Wiped/factory reset phone with TWRP
9. Installed CM 12
10. Booted into CM12 (set up as new device)
11. Enabled Dev mode (tapping 7 times on the build # in settings)
12. Enabled Debugging, Root access, apps from unknown sources
13. Installed root browser to change GPS.conf
14. Rebooted into recovery using flashify
15. Flashed APN Fix
16. Booted up again
17. Downloaded changeapn app and changed port to 0.
18. ????
19. Profit!1one

Many places I have full bars on LTE, where I used to have 1 I now have at least 2 or 3.

Just do the standard wipe in TWRP

This is what I was experiencing. I'm going to flash the TOT file and start over and stop at ZV5. I'm going to wait until this is all sorted out in CM12.

For those with reboot issues, goto settings/performance/ disable per app profiles... should stop the reboots

Could the drop in signal be related to location triangulation? I turned off high accuracy location and my signal has been pretty steady since then.

My theory is that it pings the towers every 90 seconds, cycling through the frequencies...? Just a shot in the dark because I don't know how that all works.
