Root CM12.1 Unofficial Beta

Hey Bad_MOFO_33 is there anyway to revert back to the stock lg back camera I am on the latest build that you have done and I am still having issues with the rear camera it has a green tint to it. the front camera is working just fine. I am quite fond of this build and if there is anything that can be done to fix this I would greatly appreciate it! Also there is a issue with the deep sleep too. I tried using the cpuset.apk to fix this but still no luck. The phone will still not go into deep sleep at all

Look above the "attached files" on the first post

are you talking about the links I already tried using the deep sleep fix from the link provided and installed the cpuset.apk from that link and gave root access still no luck with deep sleep. As far as the link provided for the camera which is the app "Camu" that didn't fix the problem with the green tint.

what is it doing exactly (the deep sleep issue)? also the camera think is still affecting some users and so far we can't find out the cause, so you'll have to make do with the green tint

lm not to worried about the camera but as far as the deep sleep phone turns off and back on over and over it never goes into deep sleep it just stays on at the lock screen

hey thanks a lot for that! That was driving me nuts! As far as the camera cant I just rebuild the kernel with the stock camera configuration to maybe fix the green tint issues that I am experiencing. This is a weird issue that why I cant see using the zv3 or zv5 stock roms to maybe resolve the issue

The LTE issue seems to be much better, however there does seem to be of connectivity problems when in a car or on the move. It will switch from LTE to 3G and wouldn't go back until either a reboot or switching from 3G to LTE again. All in all I think this ROM is great. as frequently as its being updated I think it'll become official quite soon. Thanks for the awesome ROM and work you've put into it devs

Bugs found on 6/28 build so far:
- Facebook seems to quit out if you scroll to fast or if there is a video in your news feed. ( worked fine on previous build )
- Green tint on camera still
- Video play back in chrome is working fine mostly except for live stream sites. ( Doesnt load and will crash chrome occasionally )
- LTE goes away after reboot ( Edit; If you choose "restore defaults" in the APN menu then LTE returns immediately )
- NFC and IR still don't work but we already knew that
- Occasionally the screen will lock up and you will have to lock the phone and the unlock it to fix. However this happened for me on stock ZV5 so it may not be the ROM.
- The ROM is feeling sluggish, I plan to fix by reflashing. ( Edit: the reflash fixed the majority of the sluggish-ness. But still seems sluggish while loading apps [ Compared to previous build ] )

!!!EDIT!EDIT!EDIT; I used the Swapper app to have more ram. I added 1 GB of ram on my sd. It solved the facebook problem, chrome problem, the sluggish feeling, and the 'lock up glitch'.!!

Overall this ROM I would say is finally read for everyday continuous use. I am very thankful for the developers and the contributors behind this project. Will be donating soon!

How do I use my SD card memory and add it as RAM?
It's an app called "Swapper". But before you use that app you need to download the "MemoryInfo-SwapCheck" App. Run a check and make sure your SD is able to do a ram swap. The app will tell you after you run the test. Then use the swapper app to make a get more ram!. I suggest you set it to 1000mb. I would not do less or more.

When I'm My Phone , Playing A Game , Or Texting Or Doing Anything . The Phone Randomly Reboots Out Of Nowhere . Is There Any Way To Fix This ?

First thing I would do is do a clean flash of cm12.1. That sounds very unusual for it to be CONSTANTLY overheating/rebooting. I do know of some random rebooting issue but they are once in awhile not constant. If you have an sd card. I would suggest using the 'Swapper' app like I explained in a previous reply above yours.

How do you use the App i don't understand how to swap

Aside from the obvious existing issues (IR Blaster, NFC, etc.), here's my feedback thus far.

-Snapchat video works 99%. The only issue seems to be when the video was taken with an iPhone, and the user doesn't have their phone orientated correctly, the video becomes squashed.
-Video recording (any app) does not work.
-YouTube works fine. Except when you've played a few videos, it starts to loop back to the first video you played upon opening the app. You have to quit the process then reopen the app again to get it to work.
-LTE is ALMOST perfect! (YAY!) Only issue I've been having is when my phone isn't in use for a while, and I unlock it, I notice it's not connected to LTE anymore. But switching off of WiFi now works 9/10 times.

To those having sluggish issues... SD Maid and setting the CPU to Performance solves the problem most of the time. On a couple occasions, I just wiped Dalvik and Cache to fix the issue.

Other than that, SUPREME work thus far!

EDIT: Using Swapper also makes the phone zippy.

So I got my new Volt after getting fed up of not having LTE after flashing this ROM. So tonight, I decided to flash again and followed all the steps, along with changing the SELinux, and now I don't have any service whatsoever.
