This one pretty stable. Minor bugs exist. Use the trees to recompile with source updates & it seems to run smoother. There are more 5.1 Roms on this board & then there's an official build too.

You ain't looking hard enough. Maybe you might want to get out the cm thread.

I also did manage to stumble upon a Dolby Digital Plugin that works if anyone is interested.
It's not the same DDP and ui that we had on the old 4.4.x stock ROMs, but it works... :D

I'm interested in that plugin, I've been looking everywhere for a plugin for CM12, for me it's the only downfall of this ROM on this phone.
 
Hi, just installed this rom and noticed it's not pre-rooted. So I figured I can download KingRoot. Nope, this rom doesn't know what to do with APKs. How are we supposed to obtain root if we can't even install an apk? O.o

I have no problem downloading and installing apks with this ROM. Maybe there is another reason you can't.

It is already rooted. Why do you think it isn't?
Look in system settings for root options.
 
When I download an APK and click on it in downloads, I simply get a message saying "can't open file". When I run anything that requires root, the app simply hangs or tells me I don't have root.

Go into system settings & look for SuperSU.
Also, go in security and check the box next to unknown sources.
 
Hey.... It's been a couple months now since I had the issue with the gps not moving....I was wondering if anyone would help me with that issue because I really need the gps...
 
Question. Now that B13 is rooted for the ZMAX, what do I need to do to flash CM12.1 on this phone? I read about updated partitions and changed firmware. Any thoughts?
 
I'm having an issue, when I call someone or someone calls me, we can't hear each other. Is there a fix for this?

I'm on b13 .. I installed this rom .. Had no problems, other than not being heard during phone calls and not hearing the other party during phone calls.
