Root cm13 booting on a zmax

I'll be a test build of broken tonight. Sorry I've been super busy with school studying.
Its cool bro no rush. Your October build of broken is still good enough for daily use so while it'll be nice to have Marshmallow I'm not in a big rush. I think I'm gonna flash the newest cm13 test build and do some in-depth testing. I'll be able to keep it running on my phone for longer now that calls and data are fixed.

@dfuse06 Indeed, ill wait when its ready for testing it'll be ready :-) ( still have every ROM backed up on my SD card)
@Masterchief87 Ill be running CM13 as well ( camera don't work but shouldn't need it for the moment unless its User Error :p)

Do these alpha builds use VoLTE and Band 12?

I believe we are still using the modems and bootloaders from the old firmware so that would be a no. As for whether or not they make the ROMs to work with the newer firmwares, that is completely up to hroark13 and dfuse06 so you will just have to wait and see what happens.

One thing I can say for sure is that no amount of begging will make up their minds for them or make them more likely to do it. I'm not accusing you of begging or nagging I'm just saying this now so others will read it too and hopefully this question won't get asked as often. Again, I'm not getting on your case, just putting this out there for everyone to read.

Same here. I don't have band 12 in my area either. To those of you interested in band 12, know that if there is a TV station in your area that broadcasts on channel 51 there will not be any band 12 in your area until your cellphone provider works out a deal with the TV station for them to change their frequency. You cannot have a TV station that broadcasts on channel 51 and have band 12 because they both use the 700-megahertz frequency and will interfere with each other.
Also, unless you live in a big city with millions of people , it is unlikely that you will have band 12 in your area since the cellphone providers always do Network upgrades in the major cities first period

And if it is Comcast forget about it!!!!!

These are the sensors we have

LIS3DH Accelerometer (STMicroelectronics); range: 0...39.227; resolution: 0.02 (0.05%); power: 0.011mA;
AK09911 Magnetometer (AKM); range: 0...4912; resolution: 0.6 (0.012%); power: 0.24mA;
TMD277x ALSPRX (ams AG); range: 0...5; resolution: 5 (100%); power: 12.675mA;
TMD277x ALSPRX (ams AG); range: 0...10000; resolution: 0.01 (0%); power: 0.11mA;

there are a few phones that have the same exact sensors

n9515 - warp sync
Z970 - zmax
TURKCELL T50
Z987 - grand
ZTE Blade Vec 4G

I try using the HALS from all these phones, and they either did not work at all or worked with issues

The Red Bull sensor HAL seem to work best, if you delete the sns.reg file on the persist partition
and when it boot up it recreates it

if you have an sns.reg file that was made from a different HAL, and try to use the red bull HAL, it acts wonky

I should add a line in the cm13 install script that deletes that file

anyway the ZTE Red Bull phone has these sensors

MPU6050 Accelerometer, Gyroscope, Temperature (InvenSense); range: 0...39.227; resolution: 0.001 (0.003%); power: 0.5mA;
AK09911 Magnetometer (AKM); range: 0...4912; resolution: 0.6 (0.012%); power: 0.24mA;
MPU6050 Accelerometer, Gyroscope, Temperature (InvenSense); range: 0...34.907; resolution: 0.001 (0.003%); power: 3.6mA;
Proximity sensor (ZTE); range: 0...9; resolution: 9 (100%); power: 0.5mA;
Light sensor (ZTE); range: 0...10240; resolution: 1 (0.01%); power: 0.5mA;

so while using the Red Bull HAL, maybe some of our sensors are not working
