Root CM4DX-GB Question(s)

So I flashed the latest build by RevNumbers (12-17-2011) and now I see there is a new nightly of 12-19-2011.

When flashing these nightlies, is it essentially like installing a new ROM? Or does it just update the current nightly of CM4DX-GB that's already loaded?

I want the updates, but not too sure I want to flash a new ROM every week.

What I do is just wipe Dalvik cache and proceed when going from nightlie to nightlie (unless there are more in-depth instructions).

From what I understand, and I could be wrong so don't quote me, The nightly builds are the entire Rom with the updates included in it.

that is correct treat each nightly as if it is it's own Rom. You will have to reflash Gapps when you do that.

Also fwiw you don't HAVE to flash every nightly or even any nightlies really. If your on a version that is functioning for you the way you need it too. Unless the change log of the nightly specifically has something in it affecting your device i would pass on it.

thats why i quit doing going by each nightly, that stuff will fill up your sd card QUICK!
