CM6.2 - Sprint voicemail - get an sms with every voicemail

Since I switched to CM 6.2, every time I get a new voicemail, I also receive an sms message:
"Android: xxx-xxx-xxxx has sent you a Sprint Voice Message. Call 408-970-0000."

How do I eliminate these sms alerts? I already have voicemail notifications show up in the notifications bar, so these sms messages are superfluous.

Download Handcent SMS from the Android Market and blacklist the telephone number that the SMS is sent from. That is the easiest solution I believe.

You could also switch to Google Voice and benefit from its extra services for free, in addition to visual voicemail. Is a great alternative.
