Root CM6/7 Input

hey i need some input and help with cyanogen mod

im currently running icarus 1.1 and ive seen that cm6/7 is supposed to be better, since im always looking for improvement i was thinking of upgrading so i ned help with these:

pros/cons of cm6
pros/cons of cm7
which is better cm6/or cm7
wats the best guide to install cm6/7
and looks is a big part of my choice so which looks better cm6/ or cm7 (if you had a screenshot of them could you post it plese )

i guess thats all my questions for now thanks to all

also will i have to re install all my apps like i did with icarus? cause that would be a drag

This guide tells you everything about the roms. Screen shots are not going to help you on how they look because everyone has different themes, status bars, colors etc. They look the same stock. You will need to reinstall your apps because the market will register as a different phone, but if you back up your apps with a third party back up app you will be fine.
By the way if you want screen shots of it look in the homescreen thread towards the end. Most of the ones posted are either CM6 or CM7. Look at the persons specs to see which it is.
