Root CM6 not recognized as 2.2 in market?

So I was using market.android.com to look for some new apps for my CM6 ascend, and there was a cool game called stupid zombies. It requires android 2.2, I have a metropcs android, in market.android.com it shows up as cricket, and any app requiring 2.2 says its not compatible with that phone.

Any ways around this in the market?

in cm7 theres an option to allowing mocking, Settings>Applications,Development>Allow mock Locations. See if that helps.

B4 that last build Cm7 showed up as Cricket too, now it shows as Huawei Ascend.

I found the mock locations setting, it was already checked.. ive tried with it checked without it checked, from market.android.com from market app on my phone. Nothing.

This kind of sucks if we have 2.2 but cant get any of the 2.2 only apps.

maybe it will be seen correctly in the next build.
 
Has anybody tried searching for the apps in question on market.android.com and then pushing it to their phone from the site?
 
I had tried doing it through the android.market.com of course it did not work.

So I found stupid zombies apk on 4shared, i downloaded it opened it in my file manager, it says installing.. Then... my phone reboots! I get the Green Android with the cyanogenmod 6 text and a scrolling green status bar, no warnings it just happens.

Anyone else having this issue? Can someone else try installing this and see what happens?

you trying to get stupid zombies?

seems ascend is incompatible for this game.
