I've had a couple good messaging like better keyboard 8 or some gingerbread htc mock. Ultimately I liked how the voice input for the stock for 2.2 and 2.3 worked better than those. I'll definitely try that one better. I am using stock keyboard but I'll find a better app that will split them for me. I usually would just send the text and continue in a new one but the stock tells me the count up to a point and I somehow miss it and go over. I have heard of go sms pro but never used it yet. thanks for the advice

go sms pro is nice, you can change the look and feel of it, it has alot of smilies and stuff.. but in order to use those smilies, the other people have to be running the sms pro as well..I dont know about the split txt's as I dont do long txts much..
