Oh, I know the Nexus will get it. But I don't want it for the Nexus. I want it for the RAZR because I want Vanilla Android.I think Cyanogen have said that now they have the ICS source to expect a release in around 2 months. I don't believe they drip feed releases so when they do release, it's done for a load of devices en masse so I'd say for either device, it'll be 2 months minimum.
I'd go for the Nexus though, I'm not saying the Razr won't get CM9, but there's more chance of the Nexus getting it.
If what I hear is true, the CM team needs the bootloader to be unlocked to work their magic. So you might be SOL until that happens.
Alright, well obviously it's possible since the Bionic already has a semi-working CM7 ROM. It's just a matter of when. kthxMotorola's official statement said they would allow the bootloader to be unlocked on future devices "where carriers allow" and you can bet your ass Verizon won't allow it.
You want Cyanogen on your phone? Where have you been? Motorola has been locking their bootloaders ever since the Milestone and it has stood as a roadblock for ROM development ever since. One workaround for certain phones (Droid X comes to mind) is to use a bootstrapping method to bypass the bootloader. This method isn't supported by CM at all though.
