Root cm7 and a2sd issues and confussion

So, It's been a while since I have posted here. Mostly because I got my phone up and running (thank you to the amazing community who helped me out btw, my phone is more awesome because of all of you). But it seems I have run into some problems with my latest venture into a2sd

So, my a2sd is currently installed and running on the latest CM7 build (09132011)

After running the terminal emulator commands in Toke's ascend customization guide, the majority of my apps were moved over to my sd card, but not all.

Currently, TiBu is reading my internal memory as having only 105mb of 198 mb free on my internal memory.

My Sd Card (a2sd) reads: 409mb free of 479 total.

Not sure if this matters, but ill include this information. I installed the rom/gapps, booted the phone. Installed the metropcs mms fix. Rebooted again, partitioned the sd card with 512mb and 32 swap (was told to use those values, not sure which I should actually be using), then ran the terminal emulator commands. phone rebooted again and I started installing apps.
Tibu was showing that my internal memory was being used, not the a2sd partition

I then went into the a2sd GUI and it said apps are on sd, I switched them to internal using the GUI, and then switched them back hoping it would move them all over. phone rebooted both times i moved my apps. I installed apps after this, and Tibu was showing that my internal was being used up.

Currently, the GUI says
Apps are on SD!
Zipalign on boot is on!
Swap is activated
30 is my swappiness (whatever that means)

Under Dalvik it says:
Dalvik Cache on internal memory

Is a2sd working on my phone properly? Shouldn't the internal memory not move when I install apps since all my apps are supposed to be going to my sd card?

If this matters, I only have the 2gb sd card that comes with the phone, which metropcs provided. I read somewhere here that if I wanted to move the dalvik cache to the sd card (which im not entirely sure what that would do, and if it will make a difference) I would need a class 4 sd card at least.

that sounds about right evrything is good

The a2sd system leaves a symbolic link to the phone which still takes up a tiny bit of memory so your internal can still fill.

Moving the dalvik will free system rom memory (top bar on titanium backup) and moving apps frees user memory (second bar) and sends it to the ext (third bar). If you install a ton of apps you will still use your phone storage but to a lesser degree.

Also, the numbers I put up for my old ascend were helped by the fact that I manually removed all the ringtones I didn't use that came with the phone as well as a ton of system apps like the stock live wall papers and other stock apps I didn't use such as browser and the tip widget.
