Root CM7 and SIM unlock

I had my wife's DInc2 SIM unlocked by verizon upon activation (had to drive hard for them to waive the 90 day waiting period :)), and yesterday I rooted and flashed CM7 to it. I've read that flashing custom ROM doesn't affect SIM unlock status, but it appears there are no SIM or GSM relation config options in the settings menus in the CM7 for DInc2. What am I missing? How would I force it into GSM mode?

It appears like CM7 doesn't support the SIM/GSM functions of DInc2, for now anyway.

It doesn't display SIM contacts and it doesn't show SIM number in the phone info section.
I flashed back the stock ROM and the SIM unlock is still in place, SIM contacts are visible and SIM number show is the phone info section.
Hoping they will fix it soon.
What is the best venue to report the issue at to ensure it receives proper attention?

Over at XDA there is a post for the Beta and the nightlies that you can post in I have a feeling it gets more attention that the Dinc2 forum over at cm
