Installed cm7 fine. once its up where it say set wizard a message comes up and it got to force close but once i click that it keeps coming back up wont let me go past it?

I think he's talking about the setup wizard, where it simply says there was an error with the com process and needed to force close.

This is what prevented me from loading CM7, even after a couple of wipes and ROM flashes. It is infinite and I found there's no way getting past it besides the shutdown menu, and even then the setup process error kept taking focus.

I had that same problem but I think you have the unnoficial port, go to optimus m. All things root. And then I think on the first page there is a thread to official cm7 for optimus m
