Root CM7: more stable?

I already apktool'd the stock framework and grabbed that eri.xml and put it in the overlay. The issue is that the java stuff in cm7 doesnt talk to the radio the same way as the stock java stuff does. I found some java telephony code that matches up really well with our stock framework. But its gonna take a bit of effort to get that into the cm7 tree and get it to even compile.

ugh what a painful thing to go through just so it doesn't say roaming :(

Looks cool, but to be honest, I'd rather have all the major bugs worked out of an existing ROM first. If 4.2.2 AOKP had the major bugs fixed (GPS voice over bluetooth, vmail icon notification, etc), then we could have an awesome/stable/fast alternative to the stock ROM. No disrespect intended. I truly appreciate your awesome work on these equally awesome ROMs but it would be great to have ONE that is almost 100% done.

I would like to update the family's phones without having to hear complaints that xxx is not working :-)

I can't fix something I can't experience myself since I don't own a bluetooth speaker or headset.

My apologies - I didn't realize that. I don't own either of those but I have a Bluetooth system in the car. Will ask around if anyone has an extra headset. Does anyone here have an extra Bluetooth headset or speaker that they could send to Phenom? I'd hate for this major bug to go un-addressed in this awesome ROM.

In the meantime, any chance you could take a look at the vmail icon notification bug?

Hey Phenom - I'll gladly send you a few $ via Paypal and you can get one of these:
1
Bluetooth Wireless Mini Portable Speaker Stereo Speakers for iPhone Samsung MP3 | eBay
That would be great. I'll pay what I can.

Here's cheaper listing and it's in the US.

Mini Wireless Bluetooth Stereo Mic Speaker TF Player for Apple PC Mac iPhone | eBay

Will this be 4.4?
Yes. CM11 is basically done but the audio skipping while playing music is a problem I'm still looking at, which is difficult because I can't see anything out of the ordinary. Audio from videos or other sources don't skip/stutter though.

The product referenced in Amy's link is cheaper ($1 vs $10)? I'd be happy to chip in a few bucks as well. Great way for us to show appreciation for your hard work :-)
When you select a color that's when the price jumps up.
