Root CM7 off SD card or EMMC?

Greetings. I have my girlfriend's new NC running CM7 off an 8 gig class 4 SD card. Is there any real advantage to doing the manualnooter and running CM7 off the internal? Thanks.

EMMC is often faster and gives you the option of booting off a repair bootable sdcard if something goes wrong.

You don't need to root to install CM7 on emmc. I installed Phiremod on my NC w/o even booting into stock.

Loving my eMMC install. The device definitely runs better from internal memory, but is pretty snappy on the SD card, too.
