cm7 on ascend

i have the 0514 build on my ascend .... when i flashed to 0521 my phone just rebooted constantly any help would be appreciated..... also if im changing from 0514 to 0521 do i still have to wipe cache and delvic and restore to factory setting

Normally, you don't have to wipe data/cache/dalvik to update from one CM7 version to another. However, since you have the issue, you may have to do a wipe and flash the ROM again.
