Root CM7 Question

I installed CM7 this afternoon. After I was up and going, I was looking around on my sd card with the file manager. I noticed in the download/app folder HtcClockWidget.apk. If install this, would I have HTC's clock? Is this advisable?

I don't think that will work if you don't have a Sense ROM. AFAIK there is no way to get the Sense clock with CM7, but for the widget you can come quite close with aftermarket widgets. Beautiful Widgets and Fancy Widgets both have good Sense-like clock displays.

I remember I missed the timer part of the Sense clock at first, but Ultrachron has even better functionality.
