Root CM7 SMS Splitting

Hey guys, ever since installing CM7 on to my Triumph, my SMS messages won't split after 160 characters anymore. It'll say it splits into 2+ messages, and it'll say each part sends, but they're never received on the other end.

I've tried the default messaging app, and handcent. Neither one work.

I'm pretty sure the splitting worked before CM7, although I can't be sure. I know this isn't just a service issue, because it happens 100% of the time. It's stuck like this.

Does anyone know why this is happening?

In Stock SMS App... Menu > Settings > Check SMS Split. Optional... Check Split counter to tell you when you are approaching/over 160 characters.

Not sure why, but this setting is off by default in CM7.

Still doesn't work after doing this.

Also the majority of my settings don't save. After restarting my phone, or going into USB mode, I have to choose my defaults again.

I'm gonna try reflashing it, since MIUI reboots my phone every hour or so. I'll have to go back to the stock Virgin ROM if it still craps out.

Hm, weird. It works for me using CM7 and Handcent.

works on cm7 and miui perfectly for me.

probably bad flash? random weird bug.
