Root CM7 update 1.8 issues

Last night i flashed CM7 and everything works perfectly except 2 things. The first is that I have zero signal unless I fix permissions via CWM. The second is that I can see wifi strength's but when I connect, the wifi signal is depleted of bars and I cannot connect to the internet.


I current have CM 7 update 1.8 running with the 5th GB radio and GAPPS flashed.

Please help me, as I love CM7, but these issues are a pain.

Flash back to 1.7 like me and everything will be perfecto

Yeah I did a wipe before the flash. I jumped from BAMF straight to CM7 1.8, so I was going to try 1.7 when I got home to see if that cleared it up, or reload 1.8. Any other suggestions if it doesnt clear it up? My CWM is up to date btw.

I would try to reflash it, but this time wipe cache, dalvik cache (in advanced), and data, also go into mounts and storage and format /system to see if that resolves the issues. If that doesn't the wifi could be a kernel issue and you could try a different kernel or if you don't care about BT then try 1.7, sometimes it seems like any given rom can just not like a certian phone.
