CM9 issues

Just 2 problems, 1. when i try to add my hotmail account on CM9 it says "couldn't finish, you've typed an incorrect address or the server requires a protocol version that email doesn't support" 2. when i copy apk's onto my phone from the pc, where are they stored as i havent found my files folder.

I have another issue. Where can the gapps.apk be found for CM9? I've been looking all over the Cyanogenmod forums but I can only find gapps.apk for CM7.1 with the galaxy s2.
