Root Cm9 Keyboard Switching

I just noticed this earlier today. If I want to change keyboards I know in ICS, it's done now in the notifications. I'm running CM9 3/19 with the 3/17 gapps and I can't change keyboards anymore.

Could it be that I'm not using the moto gapps? Everything else is running without a hitch.

I usually change it in settings... language & input. Should be a "default" there you can tap to change what's the default keyboard.

I tried going through settings and check Swiftkey X but whenever I need to type something it's still the default Android keyboard that comes up.

The way to switch keyboards in ICS is one of the few things I don't like about it. I saw nothing wrong with the old longpress method. Oh well.

And now I have another moment in my life where I feel like an idiot for not seeing what was right in front of my face.

Guess I still need to look around the ICS settings layout. It's quite a change from GB.
