Root Cog 2.3b7...

Hello everyone,

Just wanted to know; has anyone gone to b7 yet? Have you had any major issues besides the noted bluetooth static? (doesn't bother me). I am coming from 2.3b6, which I really like. I will probably be going to the non-OCUV version.

Side question; I have Titanium Backup (donate version). Will I have any problems restoring my SMS messages and call log? It seems from reading around that some people don't trust TiBu with that.

Last question (and kind of a dumb one ); I have odin3, and have used it before. I would like to master clear my phone as I'm flashing back to stock, but I'm not sure at what point to click the 'Master Clear' button. (Something about it gives me sweaty palms). The directions on Odin3's thread are somewhat brief.

1. I am running B7 non-oc and so far everything is good (2nd day).
2. You should be able to restore with Titanium backup however make sure you grab the folder off your internal SD card before you perform 0din and master clear since everything will be deleted (happened to me when I flashed b7 and hit master clear).
3. You hit master clear after you have flashed the phone back to stock and you are able to click master clear in 0din again.
4. Backups pics and etc.

i'm loving it but i've flashed twice but having the same issues:

-poor battery life - even when forced to EDGE from 3g. very poor as in half the life i was getting on stock Eclair.

-random shut downs. only happened 3 times so far but it doesn't reboot, just shuts down.

that being said, i'm not turning back as i love the ROM - just hope this is improved by the next release.

On another note, has anyone had any issues with the OCUV version? I probably won't ever do that, but you never know...

I like it a lot. I tried Liquid Frozen Yogurt but it just didn't work for me so instead I'm using the latest version of cog and its amazing so far. is there any cool themes out there though?

What are the specific advantages of b7 over b6? I kind of want to wait until there is a big change to reflash the update.
