Can someone tell me how to change the animated LED colors? I changed each one in photoshop, kept them the same name, but when I push it to the phone, I'm still getting the colored LEDs...Any help would be appreciated so I can finish the Droid robot requested above...

I'm fairly sure the trails are rgb codes in one of the xml files but I'm not entirely sure.

I tend to use a very dark grey cause if not it comes out looking white. Also did you round up after you divided by 255. If not that helps. Yea I was thinking it was time also to start a new post. I'm gonna see if a mod will give us a sticky.

Rooting your phone is by no means illegal, as android is an open OS, but it is frowned upon by most, if not all, cell phone carriers. But that's why we just don't tell them what were doing. Its only "illegal" on the iphone because steve jobs is a homo.

But either way, I'm still brewing up ideas for more and trying to concoct ones of my own to no success.

Special Notice to cyanogenmod users--to use these you need to download the file, grab the pyramid_background.png and the nexus.rs file from their respective folders, and put them back into the LiveWallpapers.apk from your CM ROM. When we finish the app this will no longer be an issue but for now its the only way.


for installation you need to be rooted, and you need to adb push.

Download the file and rename it to LiveWallpapers.apk

1. If you have the SDK installed, move the LiveWallpapers.apk file to the tools folder
2. open command prompt
3. change the directory to the tools folder that you put the .apk into
4. then type adb push LiveWallpapers.apk /system/app/LiveWallpapers.apk

OR

1. put the file in the root of your SD card
2. open up terminal emulator
3. type in this

su
mount -o,rw remount /dev/block/mtdblock4 /system/
cp /sdcard/LiveWallpapers.apk /system/app/LiveWallpapers.apk
