Help Cold Boot ??

Does anyone know the correct procedure for doing a cold boot (not a factory data reset) on a stock Bionic running ICS?

If you are trying to do a soft reset you hold both volume buttons and the power button until the phone reboots.

A cold boot is what it is called when you turn on the phone ( or computer ) after it has been turned off completely...

A warm boot ( or reset ) is what OutOfPhase described...


So to answer your question as asked... if the phone is on... press and hold the power button and select the Power Off option.... When it is off... simply press the power button until it starts up.

I suspect you meant to ask what OutOfPhase already described for you...
