Please ree add BackupRestoreConfirmation.apk. ib dislike re theming my phone and apps. Appreciate it.

I forgot about the sd swap script, not sure if having both would Work without issues but having both wood be nice. A2sd is awesome when a ext partition its made, there are so many options for it, all the different file systems and such, between the multiple 1~2 gig games I play and the million apps I use
 
I got a V2 almost ready to go, with google now, 4.2 keyboard, crt animations, supercharged, more......where im running into a problem is when i supercharged it he timestamp got messed up now its not playing well in the kitchen

nvm android kitchen fixed the timestamp

i got this error, never got it before

Cygwin may not process them correctly when building the ROM. To
ensure they get flashed to your device uncorrupted, copy an
existing version of the same files from your device (e.g. using
Root Explorer or ADB) to your PC. Overwrite the files above
with the ones you copied from your device.


now i copied all mentioned files to my dropbox so i could overwrite them, is this completely necessary?

We wouldn't want corrupted devices :p. But of you know what you're doing and you think the message is bull than its unnecessary. Just be sure to test it first before release ;)
 
Just a newb question (I feel so dumb I use to be good at roming) but I have the all in one click root and recovery do I just install the apk to the lte2 recovery and it installs recovery?
 
Hey what about smart share since this is motion rom we should have ask the lg motion extras like quick memo and smart share which I use to give all my friends (music or apps )that have a motion lol 5 that live close

@jamesmania88 i did the old method, i just got this phone wednesday, and woulda did the all in one had i cmbed deeper in the threads
 
scrub if yu are using android kitchen, did you make a file for edify_defs folder, and ifso could i use it
 
yes I am u need the edify file AND the custom update-script goto my tutorial post for the kitchen in these forums its all there even the l0 file ;P
 
yes 4g works. and *crosses fingers* flashing google now on new rom right now lets see what happens LOL I never seen google now so I don't even know how im going to know if it worked haha
 
now my last question before I try to install version 2 with google now, do I just use the 2nd init app to reboot to recovery or is there a key combo I need to use and once there do I just wipe everything and then install from sd card?
