Root Collaboration ROM Thread

Did you get the M7 version of Google Now working, or the new up-to-date one? The M7 version from XDA seems pretty far behind... Just curious :D

You mean rom doesn't start with custom launcher?

If so, yry this and see if this help.

1. Rename your custom luncher to LGHome3.apk

2. Paste it on system/app (to overwrite LG stock launcher)


I use above way and it works well.
 
no renaming it lghome3 wont help its about how my custom launcher works fine ;P basically the launcher needs to be in system/app but not NovaLauncher.apk it needs to say com.fdsjsdkj.apk or whatever the launcher file is pull the titanium backup of the app and use the com.name.apk file instead of novalauncher.apk make sure the com.file is all lowercase should work fine,
 
Bard are you sure our phone mounts its data from userdata and not data? I have not looked yet LOL just trying to cook this 100% v6supercharged rom up, and the answer the google now question its the newest m7
 
please keep backupcomfirmation.apk on next rom, for easy transition.thanks great work. this is the busiest ive ever seen our forum since prebanning began. i cant wait to uot for this but im workin.
 
my forums will be back up tonight. right now im trying to unbrick my phone HAHAH 4 kdz recoveries still not working I could be in trouble here ;P
 
3 hrs left till mine becomes hot, i started the upload before i realized my launcher didnt stick, but the 4.2 keyboard, supercharger v6, google now , custom LG boot animation, crt animations all work.....the 4.2 keyboard you need to apply as i never deleted the stock keyboard....its in the input settings, oh and i left alot of the bloat cause alot of people requested certain bloat to remain

also deodexed, zipaligned, rooted with 2nd init app

Sounds good as long as google now works I'm happy.

in my updater-script I had the wrong mount point for data but that should not hardbrick the ******* phone.. so I KDZ recovery now it gets stuck on LG sometimes and other times the metro logo I have ran KDZ recorery on e and f 4 times each no go same thing

Did you have bootbuddy installed?
