Help Colors under battery usage screen

Recently my Gnex has been running a little warm, and battery not lasting quite as long as i'm used to. Noticed this today, my Mobile Network Signal bar is a solid green, where it's usually a dirty yellow color with spattered green and lighter yellow. What gives?

Green: Excellent signal strength.
Grey: Decent signal strength.
Dirty Yellow: Weak signal strength.
Bright yellow: poor signal strength - bordering on no signal.
Red: No signal.

My bars are almost never green. Almost always between dirty yellow and grey.

If you have WiFi around, use that as much as possible. Looks like you are on 4G with a good signal...which means fast connection but more power. On the bright side, a good signal requires less power than a weak one!

Yeah, here's what mine looks like. I am in a borderline 4G area....
