Help com.google.process.gapps -Force Close?

Hi Folks,
I have been getting SLAMMED with an error with com.google.process.gapps whcih will cause a Force Close window and then back to the main screen. I have read that this may have something to do with some Cache or memory issues... I tried to clear GMAIL cache but cannot find where that may be.. I have over 2K email messages on my phone (or so it is reporting..)..while my account has over 24K emails..

Anyone know if there is an Email limit or a way to modify the Gmail client to only get so many emails... Or if this is even my problem..

I cleared all the caches now I can not sign back into google services. so frustrating.
