Anyone else having an issue with this process. It is using more battery than my display. Also seems to be keeping the data connection going full bore, yeah for unlimited data.

Is there a way to kill this or is it a "special" process that could be solved with a different ROM.

FWIW it started acting like this on Tuesday.

Did you recently change (or delete) anything related to weather apps and/or calender -- perhaps on Tuesday? I've heard of this error before and it was involved with sync'ing between those functions -- it sounds like your phone is in perma-search mode. (weather and calender being the most pinged, followed by gps & mail).

Thanks for the idea. It caused me to look at the accounts / sync settings, which would only crash. The way I got around that was to disable both wifi and mobile networks, then I could access accounts / sync settings from there it seems that somehow Peep got set to try and update every 30 secs. Once that fixed all seems back to normal.
