Root com.process.gapps.com crash at boot

OK, I'm getting a gapps crash when I reboot the phone. After that, everything seems to work fine, including guest mode. In an effort to narrow down the source, I booted into safe mode. When I did, the stock launcher (Home) would not run, but I did not see a gapps crash notification. I'm sure this is due to something I've uninstalled, I just can't narrow down what. If anyone can offer suggestions, I'd appreciate it.
Some of the apps I've removed:
Stock browser
Stock messenger
Google search, books, movies, magazines, games, etc (not play services though)
Voice command, lg voice stuff
LG search widget provider
There's a few others, but need a list to compare to...

Mines does it all the time too but everything runs fine. I figured it was just because I disabled a system app.

Yeah, and I honestly don't reboot often with this phone, but the fact that I know it's doing this bothers me, lol. Also, having the stock launcher not working could be a problem should I need to boot into safe mode to fix something.

I've deleted all those apps plus & have never once had any crashes! Strange

Like I said, that's not everything, just what I could specifically think of... I've gone and cleared the cache partition, clear the cache for play services and store. My main concern is that the stock launcher is broken.

Ok, here's everything that I've removed, based on the list in another thread on here...
Books.apk
BoostZone
FaceLock.apk
GoogleDrive.apk
GoogleTTS.apk
Hangouts.apk
LGEIME.apk
LGEIME_THEME_BLACK.apk
LGEIME_THEME_LOVELY.apk
LGEIME_THEME_NATURAL.apk
LGHome_Theme_Bunnyfairy.apk
LGMemoWidget.apk
LGSearchWidgetProvider.apk
LGUSMms.apk
LGWeather.apk
LGWeatherTheme.apk
Magazines.apk
Music2.apk
PlayGames.apk
SPR_Skyfire_Toolbar.apk
Swype.apk
talkback.apk
Videos.apk

I noticed something while putting this list together...the directory /system/apps/bootup contains several apks that I've uninstalled that were uninstallable without root.
LGFlashlightWidget
LGLW_Feather
LGLW_PolarBear
LGLW_Prince
LGTaskManager
LGThinkFreeViewer

Could the presence of these items be causing the issues?

Ok, I got gapps to stop crashing and the Home launcher is working again by resetting the data for the Home launcher. However, I am having issues with some apps that I wasn't having before removing stuff. Here's a list:

Kobo Currently Reading Widget does not show book cover. Uninstall reinstall fixed it once, then the widget disappeared, now no cover.

My Mini Golf Scorecard crashes when you try to enter a score. It should pop up a window with golf balls you click to pick a number of strokes. You can enter names fine, which uses the keyboard.

The gapps crashing started up again. I've gotten it to stop by uninstalling Xposed and it's modules. If I had to guess, I would think that something set in Gravitybox was causing it. However, I am still having the issues with My Mini Golf Scorecard. I contacted the developer to ask what all it is dependent on that might cause the issue if it was not present. I haven't heard back from them, not sure if it's because they don't want to try to give support for a rooted device, or if they just haven't gotten around to my message. I saw other reviews where people were having the same issue, but as I didn't start having this problem until I started removing stuff, either my problem is unrelated, or they have the same cause and aren't saying anything about being rooted. I've got the Kobo issue resolved...just kept screwing with it and it eventually came back. Maybe the widget is a little buggy?

So, in summary, the gapps crash does seem to be being caused by something in Xposed framework.

my guess is gravity box. i use xposed and use XBlast tools for mods and have no force closes at all. gravity box is for pure aosp phones only. gravity box is for phones like nexus, or moto g, x. the developer says hes not responsible for issues resulting from using it on a non aosp rom. since we dont have recovery to make a backup i havent bothered using it. im not gonna break what cant be fixed yet.

Installed Xblast and it's causing crashes too. Which mods are you using?

I'm pretty sure there's something else besides Xposed causing these problems. Other than what I've uninstalled, I have nothing disabled. Is there any way anything I've removed could be contributing?

Interesting development. Reinstalled GoogleTTS and the gapps crash came back. Could someone upload the stock voice related apps? Might be a connection there.

You need the whole gapp not just one apk. The gapps zip your using is the wrong one . you need to update to a news gapp

Um, I'm not using a gapps pack. Installed GoogleTTS from the play store. I don't think we even can install a gapps zip at this point.

Are you rooted if you feel its a apk that you updated just go into app manager scroll down to affected apk and remove the update

No, I don't think it's something I updated. As I've said from the beginning of this thread, I think it's something I've removed.

If I had a backup, I wouldn't be asking for someone to upload stuff. Please spare me the lecture.

Anyway, cleared the dalvik cache and the gapps crash stopped. Now to figure it why My Mini Golf is crashing.

So sorry didn't know you was about to blow off some steam . hope you feeling good now . so sorry you DIDN'T MAKE A BACKUP . NOW WHAT YOU NEED TO DO IS DOWNLOAD A rom for that device unzipp remove the following apps .

Talk back
Face lock

Also when you put these into the system folder you may need to do a reboot. Also try another launcher

There is no ROM for this phone. I doubt those apps have anything to do with an app crashing. In my last post I said the gapps crash stopped when I cleared the dalvik cache.

Well, for whatever random reason, My Mini Golf Scorecard is working now. So, all seems to be working properly now. This thread doesn't contain any useful info or solutions, so it can be deleted now. :p
