I looked at my data usage list and the biggest user by far was something called: com.swim.dodoro.derek.pang:10110 Can anyone tell me what this is and what it does? Someone else said it might be an ad-on to Boat browser.

After googling it all I can see is that Derek Pang is a P.H.D candidate at Stanford
specializing in Image, video, and multimedia systems. He is an Electrical Engineering graduate from Simon Fraser University.

It looks like his studies and post graduate work are involved with computational human visual attention and new view synthesis prediction technique. It doesn't look like there should be any type of malware involved here but unless you can uncover what or how this applies to some app or system file I would be careful.

After more investigation the term swim and dodoro refer to Scott Dodoro and the urban swim initiative with the Y.M.C.A. with direct link to a process called Vimeo video.

So I guess the question is if you have anything you just downloaded that is connected to swimming video or a project involving this.

Yep, it's an add-on to boat browser, sort of. Do you have 'Naked Browser' installed? In XDA forums it looks like someone was trying to modify boat browser with his additional code and call it 'Naked Browser.' Just google exactly what you asked about, com.swim.dodoro.derek.pang without the additional numbers, and look at the XDA forum result.

I made Naked Browser and it is no way a modification of Boat Browser code. I'm not sure where you got that information, but it is not correct.
