com.system.dbprocess help!!

[orion1210]

Please could someone tell me what com.system.dbprocess is?
It's appeared on my htc one out of the blue, is using 86% of my battery usage and sends nearly 5gb of data daily.

Does anybody else have it? I can't remove it.

Thanks

From googling it it seems like a nasty at 1st impressions. Are you rooted/rom'd?

[orion1210]

Thanks for that. Not rooted or romd. How would I get rid of it?

[funkylogik]

What have you tried so far? Wont it let you uninstall it from Settings>applications?

[orion1210]

Managed to uninstall via the battery usage menu.

Turns out it was an mspy app!!

I know it's a simple process name for some Htc devices. The are lots of process names, with similar codes.

I saw that code only in lots of new htc device. In other phones I never saw it. I think it's Sense software for Htc.
