Well, I'm a current Behold II owner (one of the freebies given away online) and in the process of porting the I7500 Galaxy over to the Behold, I officially bricked it. The whole Samsung experience has not been a good one for me since I jumped on board with the 1st Behold. Even with the trumped up hardware specs the Behold II has constant lag and numerous force closes that would annoy anyone.

I ordered the MyTouch this weekend and I'm really looking forward to a real Android experience without Samsung's gimmicky customizations thrown on top.

A few questions though, How easy is it to get the mytouch rooted and running a freshly cooked up ROM?

Is the lag a big concern?

Does it officially come with 1.6?

I got my MyTouch about two weeks ago, maybe it's been three now. It came with 1.5 but I got a notification from T-Mobile in less than 24 hours to have it upgraded to 1.6

so did i! i think it took about 7 hours to get the update for me.
