I have been sitting here for days on end and cant seem to get a solution to fix my issues. What I have been going through is a tough one I imagine. I'll first say I am new to this site but I'm not new to rooting and using custom roms and so on. I wont consider myself a genius but I can find my way around with things. I have been playing around with roms and rooting for a few years now with the original Droid then with the later ones to follow.
I'll get to the point, I had purchased 4 phones from eBay (Casio Commando) and 2 of them wouldnt show a picture and 2 of them were password protected. So I purchased these phones to use on my business for the push to tallk, remember I am familiar with the software and sbf rsdlite and the 9 yards. However I wasnt aware of the issue with Casio not making these phones with a hard wipe option until it came through with a OTA update. These phones dont have the update so the power on until red led then volume down, power, camera does not work. I then called casio and I can pay for them to fix it for 25.00 each phone but they want proof of purchase, I told them I purchased them off of eBay and can send a copy of the invoice on the listing and everything but they would not accept it from eBay.
I did take apart one of the no picture phones and use the motherboard on a good lcd, but guess what FU**** Password protected. I find its a lot of work to do a swap like this on these phones so now I am afraid to do the other and finf=d the same issue.
Can anyone lead me in the right direction of how to get these phones working again? I did end up using my upgrades and got brand new commando's but I sure would like to get these working again. I would like to use them for back ups if need be.
I am guessing that the USB Debugging is not enabled on the devices as I cant get anything to download on computer for the device software.
