Help Commando Power Cycling

So yesterday my commando became possessed and has not stop power cycling. It will play the intro video, the then initializing... please wait screen, then hit the home screen for a second.... then the "Power Off" shutting down message pops up.... repeat.... repeat....

I have removed the battery several times... Tried to kill it during start up... Let the battery run out.....(Thrown it across the room) all to no avail.

HELP Please!
 
Not for a few weeks
The only new variable was me plugging my phone into my car for the first time. Shortly after it started power cycling.

I did some hunting around and the only solution I've seen is warranty replacement. Hopefully someone else here can help before you have to go through that hassle.

Since you answered that way there is a good chance it's not. If you are the original owner call Verizon and get a warranty exchange. No one's Commando is more than a year old so it will be under warranty. I specifically would not mention the car charger lest they try and say that your car charger damaged the phone and deny your claim. If it was an ebay special or came from a 7-11 it's possible that it did. Never ever admit to using any non-OEM accessory ever. It voids your warranty.

Something has happened to the operating system and you are not going to be able to fix it.
 
Also maybe stop at the store and try out a charged battery out of a demo phone. Although not likely you may have just blown a cell in your battery. More likely you blew part of the charge/power control board.
