Anyone know what Companion Link, Deja Office & Documents to Go plan to do about having their apps work for ICS, Android 4.x?

I can't speak for Documents to Go, but I can say we have a Galaxy Nexus in the office and have been testing DejaOffice and the sync process with it. We're still running it through testing, but initial reports show DejaOffice running well on Android 4.x.

Of course, we'll continue to test under ICS and patch any issues we may come up against. I'd encourage you to follow along on our blog for all the latest info.

Hope that helps!

Send and email to the apps support, most of the apps have a support email on their site where they will answer your questions

Thanks for the information and I just read that you added vcard to Deja Office. Great idea and that was something sorely missing on my BlackBerry Storm 2.

Even though I am in the SGNexus area, I am waiting for the Note, unless Verizon doesn't pick it up soon, then I will get the Nexus. But, if you start off with the Gingerbread version of Companion Link, what do you have to do to get the Ice Cream Sandwich version if the Note finally pops up and has ICS a few months down the line?

Thanks

David, one more thing, when setting up an appointment can you link it to a Contact so if while going there you forgot the suite # or even the address while in the car, for example, one click can get you into that contact's info? Another think BB doesn't have.

As we test more devices with ICS, we may need to make some changes here and there to ensure continued compatibility. If that's the case, you can expect minor updates to CompanionLink and/or DejaOffice. All you'd need to do is simply ensure you're running the latest version of each and you should be just fine. You can always keep an eye on our blog (Mobile Productivity Insights, Business Apps, Sync Software --The CompanionLink Blog | Insights into mobile productivity) for updates on the latest devices.

Yes - when creating an event in DejaOffice, you can attach a contact (or contacts) to the event. This data is linked to the contact in DejaOffice so a single tap pulls up their info. See http://www.dejaoffice.com/classroom/android/djoclassroom-dejacal.html#eventdetails for more details.
