Help Comparison of ebook reader apps

No, not yet. I am doing some research now because I have to make the move to digital. I will be taking some online courses in the near future and most likely will work into a masters degree. I am trying to find 3 or 4 ebook reader apps that will cover all bases in terms of formats as well as functions, and will produce portable results, i.e. if I highlight some text in one app, then find I have to open it in another app, I will still find that text highlighted. I have a week off now from work, so want to get my ducks lined up now. These charts saved me a bunch of time.

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!

I like where you're going but unfortunately DRM will make that impossible. Sure you could make all plain text ebooks but they look/read like hell and are hard to format to something you wouldn't mind reading. The original publishers should do that.
