Please can someone help? I was going to blame my now rubbish GPS on the 2.3.3 update, but have read that compasses might need to be recalibrated after an OTA. But I can't find the compass calibration in settings/location and security. Is this something that has been taken out in gingerbread as other android posts say to look there? The only compass calibration I have is in the GPS status app. I wanted to uninstall the compass-related apps, calibrate and then reinstall to see if that works like I've read in other threads, but I have no other way of checking the status of the compass.
